Porsche GT3 RSR Le Mans 2009 #77 Felbermayr by Spark
The Le Mans 24 Hours and sportscar racing in general would have died out years ago had it not been for the vast number of Porsches involved over the years and they still make a strong showing in the lower classes. These three models are all built from very similar base parts, with just minor tweeks to the aero between the teams. The first of the subjects is the most interesting visually, the Team Asia car being decorated with a gold dragon motif over a red base. This was also the only one of the three running at the end of the race, though it was unclassified having spent over eight hours in the pits to repair accident damage. The other two are quite familiar schemes. The Matmut cars are always attractive and subtly varied year on year. The Felbermayr car was finished in the two tone blue that is now very familiar. All three are well finished and will make worthy additions to all those Le Mans collections.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
